My friend and I watched this fox hunt for mice just before dusk one evening on the Alaska Peninsula. It is one of my favorite wildlife shots as it portrays that keen alertness that is particular to the fox, and it is framed so beautifully by the blue-ish gray of the fall Lupin in the fore and back-grounds.
